Position Overview
This position requires managing structural steelwork projects, creating detailed designs and ensuring top-quality outcomes through careful assessment. Alongside this, you will be collaborating with production managers, directors and external teams, managing technical queries and implementing projects successfully.
Key Competencies
- Undertakes projects & produce detailed designs for structural steelwork.
- Raise Technical Queries
- Collaborates with production managers & refers directly to the Managing and Technical Director.
- Identifies the materials for each phase of the project & Calculates order materials.
- The ability to self-check all work undertaken to achieve the highest standards of quality.
- Determines delivery dates based on a time schedule.
- Participates in system analysis and project planning.
- Cooperates with internal departments as well as with external partners, customers, companies for the integration, implementation and operation of the projects.
- Forms and maintains project records.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
- At least 5 years’ experience in steel design with Tekla design application on heavy weight structural steel works.
- Indicative portfolio of projects.
- Communication B2-C2 level in English essential in both speaking and writing skills.
- Knowledge of Euro codes as well as AISC is desirable.
- For men executed any obligatory military services.
- Clean Criminal Record and preparation of required necessary documents on your stay and work in Greece.
- Management skills of projects and time.
