EXPERTCARE APP
Expertcare app is a smart and user-friendly system from VERLINDE that allows operators to remotely access information from the MT2 electronic monitoring module of EUROBLOC VT wire rope hoists—right from the ground.
This app lets you easily view essential hoist data on Android and iOS gadgets without any inspection platform. It simplifies the process and reduces costs by minimising the need for extra equipment.
Having instant access to this information makes hoist maintenance more efficient and enables predictive maintenance, helping you prevent failures that could disrupt production and lead to additional expenses.
Moreover, this tool is valuable for SWP calculations and General Overhaul, ensuring your hoist system stays in top condition.
Technical characteristics
The application is made up of:
- Of a dongle enabling MT2/MT4 data to be read from the floor. The wireless communication range between the dongle and a reading device is 15 m as standard or 50 m with an external antenna.
- A smartphone or tablet to run the application.
The ExpertCare application enables the monitoring of the following:
- The remaining lifespan of the hoist, brake and contactors.
- Faults and alarms
- Display the load and overload case of the lifting unit.
- MT2/MT4 internal temperature

- It offers a reliable and comprehensive speed control solution (variable speed drive together with its dedicated software, brake management, main breaker, and electronic surveillance system) coupled with easy installation and operation.

Automatic Load Swinging Correction System
The effects of the swinging of loads (pendulum effect) that are lifted under a suspended crane were traditionally reduced if the operator was an expert in managing load inertia movement during the travel.
The principle of the control of load swinging is based on calculating swing movement time and lifting height. The ESP calculates and automatically corrects the to-and-fro movements of the hook-suspended load.
