Position Overview
The candidate will be working on managing fabrication projects, planning material usage and setting up timely deliveries. They will work closely with production, quality control and the General Director and oversee overall designing and production processes.
Key Competencies
- Undertakes projects for fabrication.
- Collaborates with production by giving cutting and processing plans & refers directly to the General Director.
- Identifies & calculate the materials for each phase of the project.
- The ability to self-check all work undertaken to achieve the highest standards of quality.
- Determines delivery dates based on a time schedule.
- Participates in system analysis and project planning.
- Collaborates with Quality Control.
- Intervenes via CAD in the design of the production sheets by placing dimensions or any other useful information.
- Divides tasks and organizes production processes in a cost-effective manner.
- Iteratively performs dimensional control on the produced results of the editors.
- Quality checks the welds either during or after the completion of the produced results of the electric welders.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in steel design with Tekla design application on heavy weight structural steel works.
- Indicative portfolio of projects.
- Communication B2-C2 level in English essential in both speaking and writing skills.
- Knowledge of Euro codes as well as AISC is desirable.
- For men executed any obligatory military services.
- Clean Criminal Record and preparation of required necessary documents on your stay and work in Greece.
- Management skills of projects and time.
